The Sixth Taipei-Tokyo Strategic Dialouge

The Taipei-Tokyo Strategic Dialouge

The recent situation in the Asia-Pacific has been enriching, unstable, and ever-changing, manifesting in the struggles and interactions amongst the many Asian states. Issues of national defense, diplomacy, and economics in the Asia-Pacific region are closely interrelated and interdependent regardless of state of origin. Aside from formal interactions, the question of informal dialogue and cooperation to solve problems in the region has become a vital issue. Therefore, the INPR has proposed the Taipei-Tokyo Strategic Dialogue in hopes that both countries can initiate dialogue through our respective thinktanks to further mutual understanding, increase cooperation, and respond to changes in the Asia-Pacific region in a timely manner.
